2002. Is located in the historic State Board of Health building

Baldwin proved very influential in Jacksonville's early growth.

Delano, the founder of the American Red Cross Nursing Service.
From Britannica.com. BACKGROUND INFO: Delano spent time in
Jacksonville during the horrific yellow fever epidemic of 1888.
She served as the superintendent of nurses at a local hospital, where
she proved very innovative. For instance, she insisted on the use
of mosquito netting although it was not yet known that mosquitoes
carried yellow fever.
