MYSTERY IMAGES OF THE MONTH

Here are some little mysteries in First Coast history.  Can you help solve them?  Each link below leads to at least one puzzling photo.  The people in a picture may not be identified, or the location might be unknown.  Sometimes, the date is up in air.  A few of the photos are simply enigmas wrapped in conundrums.  See what you think!

(PICTURE ABOVE: An ostrich running free in old Hemming Park?  Actually, there's no mystery with this one --  It's just trick photography.  The website manager spliced together two postcards from the Florida State Archives.  The Hemming Park picture dates from the Thirties or Forties, while the big bird's portrait comes from around 1910.)
