Guns blazed at Camp Johnston, which boasted America's second largest gun range, behind only the one at Camp Perry in Ohio.  This photo depicts part of the range, with targets in the distance.  Lumber, railroad cars, and a saw mill sit in the foreground.  Perhaps the building material was used to repair the stands for the targets.
