By the way, where are the gloves in these pictures?  Until the HIV and AIDS scares of the mid Eighties, gloves were normally used in the medical field by just physicians and surgeons, according to the March 2001 issue of Healthcare Industry Executive Magazine.  Since that time, the wearing of gloves has skyrocketed within the industry, from dentists to nurses to emergency rescue workers.
