Notice the line of trees that run along the riverfront and Coastline Drive.  Along this stretch, ships occasionally tie up parallel to the shore.  We're looking at the Northbank east of the Main Street Bridge.  The following things are pointed out in this July 2003 perspective:

 

 

 

 

Orange arrow -- Part of the Jacksonville Landing marketplace

 

 

 

 

Blue arrow -- Main Street Bridge

 

 

 

 

Yellow arrow -- Pyramid-shaped parking garage

 

 

 

 

Green arrow -- Adam's Mark Hotel (The site for this business didn't exist as dry land until a parking lot was constructed on fill dirt placed in the river in front of the old City Hall.)

 

 

 

 

White arrow -- The old 13-story City Hall building (City Hall Annex)

 

 

 

 

Violet arrow -- Area of the forthcoming residential development, The Shipyards

 

 

 

 

Black arrow -- Duval County School Board Office, located on the Southbank
